Connie Pillich is running for State Treasurer. Connie is a military veteran, lawyer and public servant. She is currently serving her third term in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Immediately after graduating college, she joined the U.S. Air Force, serving eight years of active duty and achieving the rank of Captain. She served in Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. She dedicates time to United Cerebral Palsy, Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor and the Kennedy Heights Montessori Center.
Connie was recruited into the Progressive Majority Farm Team in 2010. She will be opposing the current State Treasurer, Republican Josh Mandel. Mandel was elected in the 2010 Republican statewide sweep and lost his bid to unseat U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown in 2012.
