Dan Ramos is serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives.  He is the assistant Minority Whip.
 
Before being elected, Dan served for five years as the senior policy analyst in the House majority to Speaker Budish, concentrating on health care and higher-education funding. Dan worked on continuing a tuition freeze at all public colleges and universities and providing health-coverage parity to those suffering from diabetes and autism. 
 
Dan was the first Latino Democrat elected to the Ohio Legislature, and is one of the youngest members altogether.
