Matt Patten is running for State Representative, District 7. Before beginning his political career, Matt worked as a local labor organizer with the Laborers International Union of North America. Matt was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2008 and served for one term. While in the Ohio House, Patten was a strong advocate for education, labor and healthcare. He served as Vice Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee and was a member of the Health Access and Affordability, Ways and Means, and Alternative Energy and Brownsfield Development Committee.
