State Representative, District 110
Scott Dianda is running for re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in District 110. Scott is currently serving his first term and was a Progressive Majority-endorsed candidate when he ran in 2012. He is a lifelong resident of the Upper Peninsula. Scott previously worked as a transportation maintenance worker for the Michigan Department of Transportation after owning a small retail store in Calumet. He also served as the president of Calumet Village and the Michigan State Employees Association.
Scott is running in a targeted district that is a necessary hold for a path to the majority in the Michigan House of Representatives. Scott has been a strong progressive champion in the Michigan state house, particularly in standing up for the rights of his union brothers and sisters.
